Ex Abia Gov Hails Reps Nkole’s Score Card

Sen Theodore Orji has said that he is impressed with the scorecard of the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Uko Nkole.

Orji stated this while presenting the keys of two vehicles donated by Nkole to their beneficiaries at the member’s country home in Ozu Abam in Arochukwu Local Government Area.

Nkole donated the vehicles which were a Mitsubishi bus and a Mazda car to Abam Onyerubi Council of Traditional Rulers, and a party faithful, Mr. Michael Nkole respectively to appreciate their support.

The former Abia State governor, who extolled the leadership and benevolence of the federal lawmaker, described him as a man with heart of gold and understands the needs of his constituents.

While urging the constituents to be supportive of Nkole, the senator representing Abia Central Senatorial district in the Senate, congratulated the beneficiaries and blessed the vehicles.

Responding, on behalf of himself and the council, the faithful applauded Nkole for his thoughtfulness and pledged their unalloyed support for him in the 2019 general election.

Meanwhile, stakeholders and members of Ohafia Progressives Assembly (OPA) in Ohafia Local Government Area have paid a solidarity visit to Nkole, re-affirming their support for him.

This followed an interactive session they had with the lawmaker aimed at charting fresh courses for the development of the area in particular and the constituency in general.

Led by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Umuahia, Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukapai, they lauded his positive impacts on infrastructure and human capital development in the constituency.

They argued that since Ohafia Local Government Area, the immediate past occupier of the constituency seat had two terms in office, Arochukwu should be accorded same privilege.

In his response, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker thanked them for the meeting and confidence reposed in him, assuring that he was bent on achieving more for the constituency.
