Hon Nkole dolls out relief materials to Abia Students, vows continuation

The member representing Arochukwu /Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Uko Nkole has attributed the absence of the Covid-19 Pandemic in the State to the love and Grace of God upon Abians and the pro-activeness of the Ikpeazu led administration.

Chief Nkole who made the commendation while interacting with newsmen after handing over Cartons of Noodles, Bags of rice, hand sanitizers, cash and other relief materials to the Leadership of National Association of Nigeria Students for Students in Arochukwu /Ohafia Federal constituency to cushion the effects of the lock down commended the Federal and State government under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for their proactive measures in the fight against Covid-19 Virus.

He equally lauded the Abia state Inter-ministerial committee on covid-19 for a job well done so far in distributing relief materials to Abians, pointing out that contrary to negative insinuation on the 5G network, the 5G network is an upgrade to serve the world better, adding that efforts are on top gear to establish Songhai farms in the Constituency to provide about one hundred jobs to the people.

Speaking, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, Comrade Chibuzo Ndom noted that apart from the Governor, Chief Uko Nkole is the first to reach out to Nigerian students this period of the ravaging Covid-19 Pandemic, adding that the gesture will reduce to a great extent the pressure on Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and his government.

Comrade Ndom used the forum to call on other politicians irrespective of party linen to emulate the kind gesture by reaching out to their constituents in this trying period and assured Chief Nkole of the support of Abia students at all times, describing the federal lawmaker as a true representative of his people.

Speaking earlier, the Abia Zonal representatives National Association of Nigerian Students NANS, Comrade Frank Orji thanked the federal lawmaker for remembering the student community in this trying period and urged him to continue in that order.

Our Correspondent reports that the federal lawmaker had earlier received in audience a delegation from Ahuma Abam who came to thank him for bringing electricity to the community for the first time in history.
