When will the witch-hunt of Goodluck by Buhari’s Govt. stop? – Kalu

A PDP Chieftain and the Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu has frowned at what he terms as wild goose chase of an innocent man by the Buhari led administration who has so far not given any cogent prove of the much taunted corruption fight that have yielded no rewards.

In a statement signed by his media and publicity Aide, Comr Amos Kalu, and made available to press, Dr. Kalu frowned at the renewed persecution of the past leader, Goodluck Jonathan even after he had in 2014 made it public that he had no foreign investments and accounts. Raising Psoponea against him after all these while is a waste of our resources and insult to our collective intelligence.

“Come to think of it. On what ground would the Buhari-Led Administration be frustrating Goodluck again?
What happened to the so called loots we recovered since 2015? What happened to the returned, recovered Abacha loots? What happened to our generated incomes since 2015 because he have borrowed even more? Have we stopped borrowing for a day?

“Unfortunate as it is, the COVID-19 outbreak have xrayed the incompetence, insincerity and lies of this administration who has kept Nigeria in hoodwink since 2015.

“This is no time to be foolishly silent at the humiliation we are made to face because every step being taken now is in effort to frustration Goodluck Jonathan for the singular crime of ever becoming the president of Nigeria from the wrong side of the fence”, he argued.

Further, he cited the management of Palliative Funds which was never properly managed or accounted for at the detriment of the Nigeria masses, wondering why they are not talking about such display of shame but busy themselves in chasing a good man.

“This is time to call spade a spade. The move by the AGF to start dragging the Ex president and his family in the mud is a step in the wrong direction that must be condemned by every well meaning Nigerians because this administration had offered Nigeria nothing but propaganda, lies and more lies”.

Dr Kalu, advice the Federal to leave the Ex first family alone and focus on cleaning the many mess they have created in our great nation.

“Power is transient, the measure you use to measure to one is the measure you will be measured for when karma knocks”, Kalu concluded.
