The United States of America based Reverend Gentleman cum Business Magnet, the Chairman of Rev. Dan Imo Foundation, RDIF, and President, Ohafia National Organization, (ONO), USA, has sent a warm message of solidarity to the Chief Whip of the 9th Sensate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, commending his developmental strides within a little space of time, notwithstanding his recent distractions.

He said this is a proof that leadership is a divine assignment that must be held sacrosanct at all times. For the efforts and the results on record by Senator Orji, Rev Dan has reiterated that he and his Foundation are poised to work in synergy with the two-time Action Governor of Abia State to bring the dividends of Democracy closer to the people.

OHAFIA-TV News recalled that Chief Uche Ogboso narrated that around September 2019, the Akanu-Abia Ohafia Road was impassable. The situation was so terrible due to the rains when the Eze Ogo, with the President General of Abia Development Union and other great sons of Abia paid him (Chief Uche Ogboso) a visit.

In his words: “The meeting centred on how to secure a palliative measure that can make the road at least passable for people to go in and out of Abia with ease. I promised them that something will be done on that road and also Isiugwu road.

“Later, after a lengthy discussion with the Distinguished Senator Representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in Abuja, he assured me that the roads will be captured as the budget was still ongoing.

“Today, the Isiugwu Road construction is ongoing, while the Abia Ohafia phase will soon commence” Chief Ogboso concluded.

Going by this, Rev Dan Imo said that with this laudable project and the construction work to save ABSU/Isukwato Erosion menace, it is right to say that the people of Abia North can boast of quality representation with Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu.

“Ohafia needs to feel the government closer to her and when I see leaders like OUK walking in this direction, I am spurred to root for him.

“Time of politics of self- aggrandizement is over. This is the time to change the status quo because everyone who, at one point or another, is privileged to lead the people is responsible to the people and not to himself and/or his immediate family.

“I really appreciate Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and assure him that Rev. Dan Imo Foundation will always support and compliment his good works in every way possible”, he said.
