“We’ve never had it better with representation” Arochukwu Farmers tell Nkole.

…As farmers who were flood victims, receive succour.

It was an atmosphere of renewed hope, joy and appreciation for farmers at the Ozu-Abam town hall as the federal government intervention for flood victims under the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was officially flagged off in Arochukwu LGA on Wednesday, 6th October 2021.

Leading the delegation for the flag off, the state director, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and rural development; Engr. Victor Ihediwa charged the farmers who were drawn from across the different wards and clans of Arochukwu LGA to effectively utilize the agricultural material and equipment in enhancing agricultural production and food production.

Also speaking, the Programme Coordinator; Hon. Chile Thompson stated that through this intervention, the plights of the farmers has been alleviated in Arochukwu LGA, and assured of the effective distribution of the agricultural products and farming equipment noting that all clans and wards would be fairly captured, even as he thanked Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole for his efforts in ensuring that the ancient local government is a beneficiary of the intervention.

The women leader; Okafor Abam ward 1; Mrs Roseline Abba thanked Hon. Nkole for ensuring that the federal constituency is always at the forefront of beneficiaries in key federal government programmes, and prayed for the lawmaker’s continued political growth, health and grace.

Also part of the high-powered delegation at Ozu-Abam for the federal government intervention flag off programme is; Engr. Iwata Sunday Saro, (NEMA), Mr Kalu Ogbonna, (SEMA), Ndukwe Ikechukwu, (FMARD), Engr. Victor Ihediwa (FMARD), Party Chieftains, ranking farmers, amongst others.
