The man called Kalu Ijomah Ukeh PT II:  Today, Bedrock of tomorrow.

The reinvention of Abia to the path of development in the true sense of the word “Development” is unnegotiable and a path that must be trodden by every well-meaning leader of the State with any iota of patriotism left in him, especially at a time when the state is in her lowest ebb in terms encompassing, even and qualitative development that defines good governance.

When it is said that “today is the bedrock of tomorrow”, it means that without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities because dreaming, after all, is a form of planning. That is why as a people, we must give heed to the consequences, effects and import of the decisions we must make today, especially at this auspicious time of the 2023 election of realignment, reinvestment and rejigging of Abia State through pragmatic and people-oriented leadership.

In Abia State, albeit, Nigeria, by failing to prepare, we always prepare to fail, that is why we must neither be overwhelmed nor be cajoled by garbs of emergency messianic professional political somersault that will emerge to make us lose focus and mortgage our future for the next four years.

Suffice to say, If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else. As Abian, a concerned one at that, like Mr Kalu Ijomah Ukeh, have followed Abia’s untrodden path of growth and have sojourned along the wider path of backwardness and believes it can only stop when we do the right thing by selecting the right leader that will chart a new cause to help move from a state of administrational despondency into the light of abundance is GOD’S STATE.

The reality remains that, today, someone is sitting in the shade because someone planted a tree a long time ago. Mr Kalu Ijomah Ukeh is the true hope of a new Abia of our dreams.

Let us support Mr. Kalu Ijomah Ukeh…

Comrade Owen Idikachukw,
Media coordinator and Publicity for Ijeoma Abia foundation.
