The foremost Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency contender, Reverend Daniel Imo, RDI, has continued to make tremendous and impactful inroads into his serious message that Christians/Churches’ active participation in politics is the surest step to changing the narrative of Abia State politics in 2023 and beyond.
Rev. Imo has this strong conviction that true believers cannot be easily swayed to following the path of unpopular opinion without first analysing the implications to the body of Christ and the society at large, that is why he has held unto the belief that when they participate in the process of choosing leaders, errors of choice would drastically reduce.
It is on this note that he took his message to Agbagwu Parish to further buttress the truth.
In his words: “I was at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Agbagwu Parish in Arochukwu LGA, Abia State.
“I was well received by the members and good people of Agbagwu where I served as a young Clergyman and parish minister during my early days as an ordained minister of the gospel.
“I urged the Church to get fully involved in the liberation mandate of our dear Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency by joining hands with me to save our people from the shackles of political bondage and lacklustre representation.
“I, REV DANIEL IMO avail myself to lead by Aspiring to Represent Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal constituency come 2023”, the statement concludes.
The maverick clergy and self-made business magnate has since throwing his hat in the ring, always matched his talks with action. He has since doubled his philanthropic efforts by paying school fees of indigent students, caring for his people by coming to the rescue of any stranded massed like saving patients stuck in the hospitals by paying their outstanding bills of over a million Naira and more.
Indeed, Rev Daniel Imo is poised to prove a point that the essence of representation is ” Service to the people first”.
