BREAKING: NDDC: Police storm Joy Nunieh’s residence

Nigeria Police operatives have besieged the residence of Joy Nunieh. Nunieh was former acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The security agents arrived at the home, 3, Owuru Creek view, off Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, early morning.

Nunieh was due to appear before a Senate panel in Abuja, today.


The upper chamber is investigating the alleged misuse of N40billion NDDC funds.

Nunieh and Niger Delta Minister, Godswill Akpabio, have been engaged in a match over the crisis rocking the NDCC Interim Management Committee (IMC).
