COVID-19: FG should evacuate Stranded Nigerians in China, OYC offers ticket

Ohanaeze Ndigbo – OYC, Confirm humiliation of Igbos in China was a retaliation of leaked info of substandard PPE enroute to Africa.

(1) Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had authoritatively confirmed that there are over 2,500 Nigerians stranded and trapped in China amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, OYC confirmed through our members, that shared those trending video footage of how Nigerians were being molested and persecuted in China.

OYC Confirmed that the Chinese authorities retaliated against Nigerians in China over a  leaked information by some African residents in Beijing, who queried why substandard personal preventive Equipments are airlifted in a Cargo plane enroute to West Africa from China, as those face masks are porous and infested with Coronavirus. 

We call on President Muhammadu Buhari to subsidize the flight tickets as the World’s economic adversity had affected adversely on Stranded Nigerians

(2) OYC Commended The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Nigeria Diaspora Commision for their approval to evacuate stranded Nigerians abroad, OYC  had directed all Igbos stranded in China or any other country to report to the nearest Nigeria Embassy for evacuation.

(3) Igbo  Youths appeal to South East Governors Forum and Airpeace  Allen Onyema and other philanthropists to assist in helping Stranded Nigerians in China to return home, OYC had approved to pay for 20 tickets to stranded Nigerians especially poor students who are faced with the alot of difficulties in China.
