Desperates time requires desperate measures; Chief Kalu warns the PDP ahead of 2023

Chief Dr Emeka C. Kalu

A People’s’ Democratic Party Chieftain and DG Protocols, PDP Youth Alliance, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu has once more reiterated his commitment to the improved fortunes of the largest African party come 2023, insisting that Nigeria lives in desperate time, and only desperate measures can change the fortunes of the party for better days ahead especially in the quest to better the lives of the masses who has continued to bear the brunt of the present political and economical quagmire plaguing the nation.

In a Press Statement Issued from his Abuja Office and Signed by Comr Amos Kalu, his Media and Publicity Aide, Chief Kalu who is also the DG of Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), took time to enumerate the reasons why the party must make a stand now before it is too late, saying that Nigeria needs experienced and seasoned Politician at this point more than at any other time.

“We can recall that judged by the dwindling fortunes of Nigeria after 2015, the people were determined to make the TRUE CHANGE by voting in a man they believed will make NIgeria work again in the person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, but the corrupt cabals ensured that the will of the people was thwarted in broad day robbery that employed every state machinery to rip the people of the right. This an omen we must not allow to repeat itself if Nigeria must stand a chance of redeeming her dying nationhood.

“At this material time, I believe it is not a time we experiment on inexperienced “Boys” with money bags, PDP need a man with equal force, charisma, experience, maturity and wherewithal to match the excesses of APC and their numerous antics, and that man is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.  Nigerians are looking up to the PDP to save them and we must not fail this time around.

“Having spoken with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, I can authoritatively reveal that Atiku has succumb to endless pressure from concerned Nigerians to run again in 2023 and I am challenging the PDP to take advantage of that by rallying round him, becoming more united and purpose oriented to defeat our common rivals and salvage what is left of Nigeria” He argued.

Chief Kalu further supported his conviction by outlining some of the qualities that makes Alhaji Atiku a candidate to beat in 2023, advising that the party must not allow herself to make the same mistake twice.

“I assure you that with the wealth of experience of Atiku and his successful antecedents in both Private and Government sectors, he will turn around the fortunes of Nigeria in record time. A man can only give what he has.

“It is a big shame that Nigeria has been banned from travelling to the USA all because America is not ready to deal with a country that has no economy or political direction like Nigeria.

“As Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku played vital roles to achieve most of the successes we enjoy today like Telecommunication, Improved Economy, Infractures to name a few. He has and knows the right buttons to press to fix errors currently prevalent in the system and therefore deserve out maximum support.

“Only total support from PDP will ensure maximum support from Nigerians because to change the fortunes and destiny of our nation lies in our hands and remains a reality that if we fail to actualize these dreams and aspirations for Nigerians, posterity will not judge us kindly as people that failed to rescue their nation at this appointed time, especially putting in purview the fact that if the current security challenges are not ripped in the bud, we may one day not have a nation to call our own” the statement concludes.
