The newly inaugurated PDP Executives in Eleoha ward, Ihechiowa in Arochukwu LGA of Abia state have been enjoined to be magnanimous in victory thereby extending hands of fellowship to those who lost during the party’s congress.
2.) I laid emphasis on this today, Tuesday, May 19 2020 at my country home Ozu Abam Arochukwu LGA when the newly inaugurated Eleoha PDP Ward Executives paid me a courtesy visit, while assuring them of my maximum support in the ward towards making their tenure fruitful.
3.) Speaking to the new party executive members, I advised them to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and reminded them that they were elected based on the conviction that they would champion the course of the party in the area, and urged them to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them.
4.) While thanking them for their visit, I reiterated my support towards revitalizing the party, and most importantly I expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and the National Party leaders, whom I noted had, through the recent ward congress laid a foundation for the victory of the PDP in future elections.
5.) Earlier in their remarks, the PDP Chairman, Eleoha ward, Ihechiowa, Mr. Eke Ogba Kalu, Engr. Chris Egbegbu, and Mr. Michael Kalu Ikpe PDP stakeholders and Coordinator, Ikpeazu Fans, Arochukwu LGA respectively who led the delegation of the PDP executives from the ward expressed their appreciations to the Leader of the party in the State, HE Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for upholding the wish of the masses in Arochukwu LGA over the unfortunate past where the party structure was personalised into a pro group which had grossly affected the party in both 2015 and 2019 general elections and assured of an optimal performance going forward with the new team that has come on board in Arochukwu LGA PDP .
6.) Mr. Ogba Kalu promised to work hard in synergy with other PDP stakeholders to ensure the party remain formidable and victorious in future elections.
