Members of Hope for All, a sociopolitical structure of the wife of the Governor, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu, aimed at touching the lives of Abians yesterday, paid a condolence visit to her Patron and the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole over the demise of his father, Late Chief Emmanuel Nkole Ndukwe at age 79.
Speaking on behalf of the group at the country home of the Federal Lawmaker, in Ozu Abam, Arochukwu LGA, Tuesday May 26, 2020, the Director General, Hon. Onwa Innocent Ozuruigbo bemoaned the glorious exit of the financial expert, describing it as a great loss to the entire Abam Onyerubi community particularly the Central Bank of Nigeria “where he left an indelible mark as Senior Management Staff.”
Hon. Onwa pointed out that late Nkole had left a legacy and footprints on the sands of time stating that his humility, diligence, philanthropy would be greatly missed by all whose lives he had impacted positively.
The leader of the delegation further described Late Chief Nkole “as a fine gentleman, peacemaker, community leader and an astute banker cum financial expert whose contributions to Economic development of the Nation will remain evergreen”, he added, as he prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul, as well as the courage upon the entire Nkole’s family to bear the irreparable loss.
Moreso, Onwa used the medium to express their long nurtured gratitude to the Federal Lawmaker for his ingenuity, and dexterity in service, while applauding him also for the enormous supports and love he has shown on the group and her members.
“We thank you especially for complementing the efforts of the Governor and his wife in building houses for the widows and the indigents notably the construction of Old Peoples Home in Arochukwu which is near completion, construction of roads, provision of portable water, healthcare delivery and empowerment to the needy among others.”
He reassured the federal lawmaker of their continuous loyalty and supports and at the same time, urged him to continue in his good ways of attracting meaningful projects and dividends of democracy to his federal constituency.
In their separate speeches, Hon. Lady Mmemma Orji, Prince Ibuchim Okorie and Mr. Egwuonwu Agwu Onuoha, the State Woman Director, the Chairman of all the 17 LGAs Coordinators and the Zonal Coordinator, respectively, among other speakers unanimously appraised the sterling performances of Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole.”

Amidst ecstasy, the group promised to convey the warm reception supports and love towards the Group and his unprecedented achievements to the initiator of the group, Her Excellency, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu.

Hon. Uko Nkole thanked the group for their commiseration visit, describing it as a demonstration of their love for him.
Hon. Nkole used the opportunity to appreciate Her Excellency’s legacy projects especially providing shelter to the widows and the indigent Abians through her Vicar Hope Foundation.
He described the First Lady of Abia as a compassionate mother who has touched the lives of Abians positively, while professing his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that Abia continues to move forward in infrastructures, road constructions and human capital development.
Hon. Nkole reiterated his commitments to continuously support the Okezie Ikpeazu led administration in Abia State, “as well as complementing his efforts in putting Abia first and on the map of development.”
Meanwhile, Rt. Hon. Nkole alongside the group observed a minute silence to the departed souls of Chief Emmanuel Ndukwe uko Nkole father of Honorable Nkole and for the Commissioner for Environment, Abia State, Late Dr. Solomon Ogunji as they prayed to God to rest their souls in his bosom.
The Former Abia State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Kingsley Imaga, the Transition Committee Chairman, Arochukwu LGA, Mazi Emmanuel Jideofor Kanu and his Deputy, Hon. Onyema Ogbuagu and Hon. Eric Aso Kalu, former House of Assembly aspirant, Arochukwu State Constituency were present during the visit.
