Hon Nkole celebrated in style as Ohafia man of the year 2018

The award of Honourable Uko Nkole as Ohafia man of the year by Ohafia Today Newspaper, a community publication that has distinguished herself as a voice for the people of Ohafia, Arochukwu and environs, has successfully concluded its 9th Edition of the prestigious award that took place at Ikenga Plaza under the Chairmanship of Prof O. U. Ikpa and other distinguished personalities around and within.


Instituted 2009, the idea has been to use this medium to recognize and encourage men and women of the areas that has distinguished themselves on their fields, especially those efforts that positively affect the people.

It was on this backdrop that he was nominated the “Ohafia Man”, after putting in consideration all his effort at making sure that his constituency enjoy full dividend of his representation.

Hon NKOLE, otherwise known as the people’s General, has scattered projects in his constituency that he has been nicknamed ” Mr Project”.

He has kept his his promise that he will touch up to 90% of his constituency before end of 2018. Whereas he is still doing even more to see what he can do further to change the life of his constituents.

He has secured over 30 jobs for youths from his constituency into Federal Civil service and he has continued to sponsors students through his foundation.

Suffice this to say that his was an award well deserved for a man that has changed the meaning of representation at the federal level.

After the colourful event came to an end, Hon NKOLE took the people to his house and treated them to a sumptuous serve-yourself dinner.

The people also used the opportunity to reassure the honourable that they are solidly behind him come 2019 as he has done enough to deserve a second chance.
