A Chapter of the National Association of Ohafia Students, Abia State Polytechnics Aba, has successfully completed their 2019 Cultural Day Celebration on a grand note that witnessed great festivities and unparalleled cultural display.
During the occasion, the President of the body, Comr. Michael Ididka was represented by Director of Welfare, Comr. Chukwuma Okorie, who delivered the goodwill message to the Students.
In his message, the president charged the students to be pragmatic and stand up to their responsibility of being true ambassadors of Ohafia irrespective of where they found themselves because Ohafia is among the communities in Nigeria that can still boast of heritage of rich cultural and historical endowment, a rare privilege that must be valued and protected at all times.
He also assured the students that the new NAOS national executives led by HRM. Idika Michael (Udumeze) is committed to ensuring that Ohafia Students feel the impact of leadership and good representation at all levels, providing good welfare to all the students by always seeking for avenues that will positively impact on their academic pursuit. This he said will be achieved through many packages that are already lined up to be unleashed in no distant time.
The Abia Poly Udumeze HRH. Comr. Chukwuma in response thanked the national president and stressed on the need for Ohafia Students to benefit from all angle of government like other community students union.
The Publicity Secretary/PRO of the Association Comr. Amos Kalu (AFK), espoused that the target of the new administration in the area of information will be given special attention as the president will work endlessly to ensure that NAOS is put on the map in the history of Nigerian Students’ Unionism.
