Following the recent promotional exercise embarked upon by Inspector General of Police, and Cross River State Commission of Police, one Ohafia Son has been elevated to the rank of Inpsector of Police among many of his contemporaries.
Ndukwe Akwu Ndukwe who hails from Okon-Aku in Okamu Ward, Ohafia LGA Abia State has expressed happiness for the promotion and thanked his kinsmen, friends, associates and colleagues who have continued to pour encomiums and felicitation in solidarity to him.
“I am elated that my friends, family and colleagues are happy for me, that is a sign that they have confidence in me and I promise never to let them down. I am returning all the thanks and Glory to God” he said.
When contacted by OHAFIA-TV News to relate to us how his journey in his career had been, he said that the journey has not be easy, but with God all the way and prayers of his family and well-wishers availed much.
“I started my career as a constable and over time got promoted to rank of a Corpra. From Corpra to a Sergeant and now to Inspector of Police in Ikom, Cross River State where I have put in most of my service years.
“This is long expected and it came with great labour, focus and dedication with the attendant stress and struggle but the Lord make everything possible in his time, I am greatful” he explained.
He promised to remain dedicated to the service of fatherland in discharging his duty at all times with utmost patriotism and fear of God.
