A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Founder of Ebube Abia, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai has condoled with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the people of Abia state over the death of the State’s Commissioner for Environment, Chief Dr. Solomon Ogunji.
Dr Ukpai sympathises with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the good people of Abia State as they mourn the death of the deceased Commissioner.
He described Ogunji’s death as very painful and shocking. He regretted that Abia State will be missing such a seasoned technocrat as Dr Ikpeazu prepares to tackle the challenges facing Abia state in a post – Covid-19 world.
Dr Ukpai also condoled with the family of the deceased, urging them to take solace in the fact that the late Commissioner has made his mark in governance and in his chosen field and left enviable legacies for them to uphold.
The APC leader prayed God to grant the Ogunji family, the government and people of Abia state the courage and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
