Indigenes of the Ohafia clan in the Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia state have commended Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief Whip of the Senate for bringing developments to the district since he assumed office in 2019.

He commended Senator Kalu for his quality representation of Abia North.
According to him, Kalu has performed so credibly that there was no part of Abia North that had not felt the impact of his representation.
“Today we have people following APC because of OUK. He is the architect of good governance through people refer to me as good governance. What he is doing in Abia North is a continuation of his work as governor, he has not changed. Abia North is blessed to have him as Senator.”
Also, Eze Ukoha Kalu Ukoha, Traditional ruler (Ezieogo) of Ebem Ohafia has lauded the Senate Chief Whip for completing the reconstruction of Kpoke primary school and the road leading to Okon from Ebem, adding that before Kalu came to the political space, roads in the local government were in bad shape.
While thanking the senator for maintaining the roads he built in the area when he was governor, Eze Ukoha said that the communities he touched during his tenure as governor will not forget him in a hurry.
Similarly, Hon. Steve Anagha, said Sen. Kalu’s representation in the past two years has been phenomenal. Anagha added that through Kalu’s exceptional works in Abia North, he has repeatedly shown other zones in Nigeria what Senatorial representation looks like.

“The Premier of defunct Eastern Nigeria, Dr Michael Okpara, even the late Chief Sam Mbakwe, former governor of old Imo State and some other governors, all came at one point or the other with a promise to tar the road, but all in vain, until Kalu went to the Senate,” he noted.
