This popular research was carried out by analysts and experts in West African elections (Aeaaeao)
According to sources of the PAIGC Council, alliances with minority parties, which in the first round of the elections managed to get 1,45 %, may not have effect, because they are parties that had no electoral bases.

According to the survey, Umaro Sissoco Emballo has between 54% and 56% preference of voters, while the PAIGC candidate is between 42 % and 44 %, in 2205 people interviewed. 2% say they won’t say who they voted for and 1% say they won’t vote due to lack of credibility and confidence in Guinea-Bissau’s policy, the margin of error represents 3%.
Research Suggestion: the attempt to polarize the country through ethnic-religious issues that insult Muslims should be reviewed by the PAIGC summit! For many people who believe that Domingos Simões Pereira will take a very radical and dangerous position against Muslims if elected to be the president of the republic. It is believed that he will close the down the allowances of secularism and pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca.
