REV DAN IMO FOUNDATION (RDIF)
Rev Dan Imo is a renowned clergyman based in the United states of America. His philanthropic gestures and benevolence has been of great benefits to the people of Ohafia and far beyond. Endowed with wisdom and filled with the heart of sympathy, being touched by the plights of his people, had embarked on several missions to reach out to the masses.
Rev Dan Imo is currently the President of Ohafia National Organization, USA incorporated (O.N.O).
This charitable heart led to the establishment of Rev. Dan Imo Foundation (RDIF), an umbrella body through which he has devoted his time, resources and services to reach out to the people in humanitarian services.
In this light therefore, a hsitory was made in a remarkable event as the Director General of the foundation, Chief Uduma Nnate, led the team to the inauguration of the ANIA WARD CHAPTER of the foundation over the weekend in a bid to help propagate this act of charity and benevolence to all people in Ohafia and its environ.
The body (RDIF), made its giant strides by inaugurating executive members to pilot the affairs of the foundation at the ward level. The event took place on Sunday the 14th of June 2020 at the Akanu Ohafia residence of Prince Emma Nwosu who serves as the foundations coordinator for Ohafia LGA.
According to information made avialable to OHAFIA-TV News through Mr Okwara Uche Ezema, Director Media and Publicity RDIF, the event was well attended by members from various communities that makes up the ANIA WARD. This includes people from Akanu, Isiugwu, Abia, Ndi Uduma Awoke, and Amankwu, all in ANIA WARD, Ohafia LGA as duly appointed officials took oath of office with the Director General, Chief Uduma Nnate charging them to be committed and selfless in discharging their duties.
The newly appointed officials were:
1. Awa Okum Awa – Coordinator Ania Ward
2. Sunday Kalu Ibe – Deputy coordinator Ania Ward
3. Aja Kalu Ezeoke – secretary Ania Ward
4. Mrs Nsa Ogbasa – woman leader Ania Ward
5. Agwu Kalu Bassey – youth leader Ania Ward
6. Prince Chinemere Okorie – PRO Ania Ward
To wrap up the event in a colorful style, the Team and its members, led by the Director General , Chief Uduma Nnate, the Ohafia LGA Coordinator Prince Emma Nwosu, the Director of Finance and Administration, Mr Mbah Imo, and the newly appointed ward executives paid a courtesy visit to the vibrant Eze Ogo of Akanu Ukwu Kingdom HRM, Ezie Ogo Mba Okereke (MADOKS) who praised the foundation and the management team for their benevolence and proactive steps at the right time.
The Ezie Ogo went further to pledge his support to the foundation and assured that he will continue to actively support even the newly appointed officials of the foundation at Ania Ward.
In response, Chief Uduma Nnate appreciated the Ezie Ogo for his unalloyed support and thanked him for the warmth reception during the visit to his royal palace. The director general went further to assure the paramount ruller of Akanu Ukwu that his community at large won’t be neglected in the foundation’s philanthropic activities.
Briefing the team, the executives expressed their joy and profound gratitude to all who made the event a success, and thanked the Ohafia LGA coordinator of the foundation, Prince Emma Nwosu, for his selfless service in propagating this good works to all nooks and crannies of the community. The executives went further to inform that plans are on ground to successfully inaugurate the EBEM OHA WARD chapter of the Rev Dan Imo Foundation.
