The Stakeholders of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency have today, Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Ozu Abam, passed an implicit vote of confidence on the Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole to express their satisfaction with his representation of the Constituency.
In a motion, moved during a Stakeholders Consultative Forum convened by the Lawmaker, by a Member of the Ohafia Legislative Council, Anagha Udo, and seconded by the Majority Leader, Arochukwu Legislative Council, Godswil Iro Mma, the Stakeholders unanimously endorsed the representation of Hon. Nkole and affirmed their unwavering support for his activities.
Earlier in his address to the Stakeholders numbering over 200, Rt. Hon. Nkole presented his empirical scorecard to his constituents and took time to outline the projects he has been able to attract and the true status of each of them.
He harped on the need for the people of the Constituency to continue to support the administration of Government Okezie Ikpeazu, assuring them that Governor Ikpeazu has a special love for the Constituency.
In their responses, a cross-section of the Stakeholders commended Hon. Nkole for his quality representation which they are all witnesses to and thanked him for making them proud.
The Stakeholders confirmed that each of them was witness to the projects in their communities and confirmed the status of projects listed by Hon. Nkole. They commended him especially for the accelerated completion of work on the Néw Mmuri Concrete Bridge and urged him to extend his Midas Touch to Omenuko Bridge also.
The Stakeholders unanimously agreed that the consultative meeting will be held on a regular basis and selected Mazi Emmanuel Kanu and Dr. Chris Nwokocha as Chairman and Secretary of the Forum respectively.
The State PDP Secretary, Chief David Iro, in his vote of thanks to the Federal Rep on behalf of the Stakeholders, commended Hon. Nkole for making the party proud with his outstanding representation and urged him to continue to do more for the people.
The well-attended meeting had a cross-section of political heavyweights from the Constituency including the Leader of Ohafia Legislative Council and the majority of the Councillors in the Federal constituency Chief Ukpai Ukairo, South East Legal Adviser, PDP, Chief David Iro, Abia State Secretary, PDP, Chief Ekea Udensi, Commissioner ASUBEB, the both Arochukwu and Ohafia LGA Party Chairmen of PDP: Hon Sunday Odum Okemini and Hon Agwu Ukpong respectively, Deputy Chairman of Ohafia LGA, Hon Samuel Uduma Kalu, current and former elected and appointed political office holders from the Constituency including Hon. Mba Ukaha, Chief Iro Nkwa, Chief Mrs Nnenna Obewu Onwuka, Chief Kingsley Imaga, Chief Sampson Anagha, Lady Grace Agbara, Chief Mrs Love Ezema, Hon Obasi Okeibe Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor and Other senior government officials.
