A pathologist, Dr Sokunle Soyemi, on Tuesday, told an Ikeja Coroner’s Court that the first autopsy performed at Warri, Delta State, on the late Sylvester Oromoni Jnr., a 12-year-old student of Dowen College, was botched. Soyemi said this while testifying for Lagos State Government at an inquest set up to unravel the cause of Oromoni’s death. “Your honour, these are a few of the things he did not do. The management of Dowen College, Lagos has released a new statement on the investigation of the controversial death of one of its students, 11-year-old Sylvester Oromoni. The school principal in a statement addressed to parents and guardians, revealed that five of its students and three hostel parents have been taken into custody but that this was, however, not an admission of guilt or wrongdoing. The Lagos police command has on Tuesday arrested three students of Dowen College in connection to the death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr.
