The Enugu West Senator, Ike Ekweremadu, said David Ukpo offered to donate his kidney to his daughter, Sonia. The federal government has confirmed the invasion of swarm birds and locusts destroying farm produce in Sokoto, Kebbi, and the Zamfara States. This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday by the Chief Veterinary Officer of the Federation, Dr. Maimuna Habibu. Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has been banned from undertaking any further duties as visiting professor at the University of Lincoln after he was accused of trafficking a 15-year-old boy to the United Kingdom for organ harvesting.
