NRC cancels resumption of Abuja-Kaduna train service

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended the resumption of train services on the Abuja-Kaduna Train route. NRC stopped operations on the route, following an attack on a train by bandits. Court sentences Danish national to death for killing Nigerian wife, daughter

A Lagos High Court on Friday sentenced a Dane, Peter Nielsen, a Danish National to death by hanging for killing his Nigerian wife and daughter. Justice Bolanle Okikiolu-Ighile convicted Nielsen, 54, on two counts of murder brought against him by the Lagos State Government. The judge sentenced Nielsen to death by hanging on both counts.
