The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said he will not withdraw the lawsuits against the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus, because he does not trust the chairman to honour agreements. Sunday PUNCH gathered that Wike said this in a meeting with the Senator David Mark-led committee set up by the PDP National Executive Committee to resolve the party’s crisis. The National Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved Abuja as a venue for the party’s elective national convention scheduled for Oct. 30 and Oct. 31. The Party National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, disclosed this while reading the resolutions of the party’s 92nd NEC meeting held on Saturday in Abuja. Prince Uche Secondus will remain the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) until the national convention of the party is conducted in October.
